Hozier's new track "Too Sweet" is like ear candy! Vocal ANALYSIS of his new hit single!
Hozier's "Take Me To Church" is one of my all time favorite songs to come out of the last decade, and some of the amazing covers that have been done have let that song continue to live on towards infamy. So when he dropped a new single last month that's already reach number 1 on the top 100 on Billboard, it was no surprise for that to happen, and no shocker for me to want to listen to it for the first time here!
Join professional opera singer Elizabeth Zharoff, as she listens to Hozier performing "Too Sweet" for the first time.

Can’t let an ELO review go by without mentioning the stunning fact that nearly every instrument, voice, the song writing, arrangement, production … everything, was mainly Jeff Lynne. Plus he was great friends with the Beatles especially George Harrison hence the unashamed influences. Just a total genius.

Back in the mid '80's there was a computer that was brought onto the market called the Amiga, and and someone made an add-on that would feed back signals into a program that would then visualise the music based on volume and harmonic content. Of course now that's all done in SW, but watching Elizabeth's facial expressions and hand articulation reminds me so much of that, in addition to all the valuable comment, it is extremely entertaining.

Also, Gilmour has easily the best emotional ability with his guitar. Gilmour also said (just in the last year) that his FAVORITE guitar player was Jeff Beck (RIP) and everybody should check his stuff out as a favor after he passed.

No offense, but Gilmour was a HUGE part of Pink Floyd (ALL of the guitar basically), but Waters wrote basically ALL of the lyrics. They were perfect and brilliant together and crushed it....but also then when Waters was kicked out of PF they did three or so more albums that....ya know, had no emotional lyrics.

Obviously love Freddie and David as absolutely brilliant writers and singers. As a comedian I also think they are great, but there are shows (Golden Girls) I would gladly fight to the death regarding how brilliant their writing was. This is why those shows were ahead of their time with things like (gay family, AIDS, lesbianism, etc.) Not enough people know how and why that show has survived for 30+ years and people still love it - because like writing any kind of comedy....it has to be smart and interesting first, and if you just want to do "shock" jokes...you'll basically have a one or two week time frame.
